How and When to Pay.

Your payment schedule, the ways to pay, and the one rule for checks.

At a Glance

Culinary Canvas event payments are made out to Urban Canvas LLC.

Pay by credit card, ACH bank transfer, or check. Make every check out to Urban Canvas LLC, never to the venue. Your contract lists your exact amounts and due dates.

Writing a Check?

Pay to the order of: Urban Canvas LLC

Memo line: your venue and event date (for example, “The Noble 6/12/27”).

Do not write checks to the venue.

Your Payment Schedule

Due dates count back from your event date. Add them to your calendar on Events 101.

  1. 15%At booking. Your deposit holds your date.
  2. 30%About 6 months out. Due around your virtual meeting.
  3. 30%About 3 months out. Due around your planning meeting.
  4. Final10 business days out. The rest of your balance, due with your final meal count.

Booking less than 6 months out? More is due at booking. Your contract lists your exact payment schedule.

Ways to Pay

  • Credit card (a transaction fee applies)
  • ACH bank transfer ($10 fee)
  • Check, payable to Urban Canvas LLC

Getting Your Check to Us

For extra security:

  • Mail it in a plain envelope.
  • Hand it to your venue manager.
  • Drop it off at Culinary Canvas at the Moto Museum, 3408 Locust St.
